Yard Sale Find!! $1 box of doll clothes

Hello vintage lovers!! Got to go to a few yard sales last weekend even though it was a bit rainy (most were in garages or had tents). Was luck to find a few items to bring home with me, I am sure my husband does not agree but oh well. I happened upon this box of vintage doll clothing and accessories, I love finding stuff like this and looking through it. Everything I got in this box cost me only $1 and as you can see there was quite a bit in here. Most was hand made or untagged but I still found some cool pieces for only $1!

There are at least three official barbie outfits in this picture but not sure since they are untagged.

This is a Kenner Darci doll outfit and shoes! I actually needed an outfit for a Darci doll I found and want to fix up and it just so happens this is her exact outfit!
Most of these are handmade and some seem a little too big for barbie.

There were some accessories included as well, 3 pairs of shoes and some shoes with out mates. There was also some brushes and hats.

Goodwill Haul.... milk glass cake stand blue and white decor

Hello vintage lovers!! Ran into goodwill for a few minutes the other day and came out with some amazing items! It is always when I pop in that these deals are there, I make myself feel bad about running in cause I really don't need to. Then I find stuff like this and then think that is why I came in!

I found my first milk glass cake stand today for only 2.99! Love the design on top this will look cute on my new tea cart for my kitchen!

I have been on the look out for these for a while now, I really want the colorful kitch tea bag holders with the faces but these will do till I find those. I only paid 1.99 for this set, some have damage but when displayed I do not think you can tell.

My first enesco pray lady I have found in the wild, I love this collection so much I would love to have all of it but ebay is too expensive for me. So I will keep looking for them in the wild, she was only .55. She does have damage but again it is not noticeable when displayed.
These are not vintage but I added them because they are vintage inspired, it is a bag of old world glass bird ornaments. I only paid 1.99 for the whole bag.

What's in the bag??? Sewing notions

Hello vintage lovers!! This is a recent goodwill find that I wanted to share. This whole bag of vintage sewing notions was only 2.99. The only thing I could see was there was a lot of rick rack and a few tools, I was intrigued so it came home with me. There was a lot crammed in that bag!

Pretty decent amount of items for 2.99
There was quite a few snap fasteners and hook fasteners. A buckle set and a couple boxes of elastic.
Here are some singer tracing tools and a eyelet tool kit
19 unopened packages of rick rack
13 unopened packs of seam binding
Also and assortment of bindings, ribbon and floss

Pioneer Woman Haul.... Christmas in August

Hello vintage lovers!! It is that time again for a pioneer woman haul! I know that this is not vintage but as I have stated before she gets her ideas from vintage items. This is a Christmas in August post, I love her Christmas line, love the muted soft colors and the prints look vintage (especially the Christmas tree print it looks like a tree from the 50s). I got a couple of items on clearance after Christmas and wanted the pitcher below so badly but my store sold out. So I waited patiently and it paid off, walmart had it on sale for 6.99!! So of course I grabbed it up with a few other items that are in the post. I plan on decorating my hutch in my kitchen for Christmas this year, and these pieces are going to be perfect! I will have to do a complete Christmas collection when I get everything out.

This is the culprit that started it all... The beautiful pitcher that I paid 6.99 for.

These bowls are so pretty of course the christmas tree one is my favorite, I paid 9.99 for these.
My best find (besides the pitcher) was these serving bowls for only 12.99.
You know I had to get the cups to match too, these were on clearance for 9.99 for the set of 4.

Salvation Army Find... made in Italy picture frames

Hello vintage lovers!! Today is a salvation army find! Salvation army is my vintage treasure trove, goodwill is hit or miss but salvation army always has at least one thing everytime. I tried to come home without this beauties but I just could not. I love the vintage brass frames and the art inside is just a pretty, I really love the floral prints. I thought maybe I could change the child prints for something else but they are growing on me. Another reason I could not leave them behind is because they were only .99 a piece, can you blame me for getting them now?

Yard Sale Haul... purse jewelry kiddle and a bird cage

Hello vintage lovers!! Had a successful yard sale weekend for vintage items! Usually it is more kid items, so I was excited. This haul is a little random but that is the way I like it. Also found some Christmas items but those are in another post. As stated before I really am trying to be more selective with what I buy, it may not seem that way but I am! Hahahahahahaha!!!

Brass birdcage was $2 (gonna take the fake birds out), I am really getting into brass items.
This pretty tapestry purse was only $2 also! This is going to go on my bedroom wall as decor.

This little sweetie is a Jewelry Kiddle, she is a locket and would have went on a bracelet but that did not come with her. Her eyes are a bit scary but she is so tiny she is cute! I paid .25 for her.

Yard Sale Find... straight leg brunette scooter barbie doll

Hello vintage lovers!! Went to some yard sales last weekend and did not find a lot of vintage items but what I did find was impressive. This lady is a 1963 straight leg brunette scooter doll. She is skipper (barbie's sister) friend. She is in good condition, there is a little discoloring, her hair is a bit dry but her face paint is nice. She did not come clothed but I can find her something to wear. I found her in a random bag of toys that was only $2! That is why I always look in the bags!

Pioneer Woman Haul.... loaf pan and cake stand

Hello vintage lovers!! I am doing another pioneer woman haul, it seems I went on a pioneer woman spree the past couple of weeks..... Don't tell my husband, ok? For some reason they have had a lot of good deals online, I got quite a few items I had been eyeing at amazing prices. I have another haul of just Christmas items in another post. These are the non holiday items I purchased.

This is the flea market cake stand I have been wanting this for a while but it was always a little pricey to me. When it came down to 11.88 I decided to snatch it up and glad I did it is really pretty.

Was surprised to see this on the website by itself  (usually sold in a set) plus this has been sold out for a while but as luck would have it they had it on clearance for 6.88!! So I added it to my collection!

Salvation Army Find.... rose hand mirror

Hello vintage lovers!! This is probably one of my favorite salvation army finds to date. This is a made in Japan hand mirror. My grandmother had one of these that I played with all the time. It has a crochet rose print on the front and back. It has a hanger on the back and a easel to set it up. This is one of those I never knew I needed it finds. This amazing item only cost .99, I will be using this not just decorating with it. I like to use the vintage items I find if I can.

Yard Sale Haul... Christmas in August!!

Hello vintage lovers!! Got to a few yard sales over the weekend and yes I did find some vintage Christmas items! It is not every yard sale trip I find Christmas items. So when I do it is exciting. I try to be more selective with what I purchase since my vintage Christmas collection is rather large already. I had to have these items!

These pins are so unique I believe they were hand made from vintage sequins, beads and thread. I paid $1 for all three.
This is probably more 70s or 80s but I still liked it and for .25 I could not leave it behind.
Lastly are my favorite items I found, these vintage Japan mercury glass miniature ornaments. Of course my favorite are the indent ones. I also like the one with a snowflake decal, all for .75.
