Hello vintage lovers!! Sorry for the overload of Christmas posts lately but I am trying to get caught up on the box of vintage Christmas that I got for $5 at a yard sale a few weeks ago. In this post it is going to be the ceramic angels. My favorite is the baby angel with present he is so adorable! There is also 2 with instruments and 2 candle hugger. Not sure of the brand cause there are not marked (except the baby it is Lefton, I love Lefton it is one of my favorite ceramic companies!). These cuties are going right into my collection!

Christmas in August... reindeer
Hello vintage lovers!! This is another installment from my epic $5 box of vintage Christmas. These are my reindeer, of course I have a collection of those too. The red velvet one was made in japan, one of his antlers is torn but that is ok he is still a cutie. Then there are 2 celluloid ones with bells, I was glad to get these cause I have a couple but one fell apart last year (literally disintegrated). Last is the little celluloid Santa sleigh and reindeer, I do not have one of these so that is great to add to my collection. Even if I already have the reindeer I will still pick them up because I have an illness LOL!!

Yard Sale Find.... corelle dishes
Hello vintage lovers!! Went to some yard sales with my partner in crime aka my grammy. As I stated in the previous post I am trying to be good and not buy as much. I did pretty good only got these items and a few non vintage things. Had to scale back since the weekend before I bought a whole car load in. I love using corelle plates, I had been using plastic plates for years. They started melting and I needed a change. Corelle items are very durable and we love to use them. I can find them pretty cheap too, I have several different patterns in rotation, so when I found these bundles of 5 plates for $1 (so basically .20 a plate, that is goodwill prices) I was like "yes please". I got the spring blossom serving bowl at the goodwill for .99. The small salad plates are the butterfly gold and the dinner plates are called summer impressions those come in 3 different colors this is the brown.

Goodwill Find.... rolling pin
Hello vintage lovers!! Today is a goodwill find that was bought a couple weeks ago. I had one of these vintage rolling pins but I could not get the lid off to put anything in it, so I sold it at a yard sale. Back when these were made you could put flour in them or water to make them heavier if you needed. Now we just put decor inside lol, was happy to find this one with some items already in it (one less thing I have to do). Also it was only 1.99 so that was a great deal!

Christmas in August... elf with pipe chenille cleaner arms
Hello vintage lovers!! I had an amazing weekend last week! You have already seen quite a few of the items but I still have a lot to share. I got a whole box of vintage Christmas items for 5.00 and this little guy was in it. He is a made in japan chenille pipe cleaner elf, this is my first one made like this. He is missing his hands but he has both his feet so I am happy with that, he also has his original sticker. Since I got so much in that box I believe I paid .50 or less for him! He is awesome!

Salvation Army Find... Enesco prayer lady napkin holder
Hello vintage lovers!! It's about time for a salvation army find. Haven't been having the best of luck lately thrifting but that can be a good thing cause I really do not need anymore but when I seen this enesco prayer lady napkin holder I had to have her. She does have a repaired neck (which I usually do not purchase items that were broken at one time) but I had to have her anyway. I have been looking for this set for at least 10 years. I have only found this napkin holder and the creamer and both had damage but I just could not leave them at the store. I have looked at them on ebay but they are too expensive for me and most of those have damage to them as well. The best part is she was only .59!! That made the damage a little easier to handle.

Yard Sale Find... Titan red head barbie
Hello vintage lovers!! I was at a yard sale this past weekend where they had toys bagged up for $1 per bag. If you can believe it I found this girl in a bag with another newer barbie! She only cost me .50! She does have issues (of course for that price) her hair is dry, she is dirty, her paint is chipped a bit and she has a little piece missing from her nose. I am going to try to fix this girl up, I'm excited! I don't collect barbie dolls but if you see a vintage doll in a bag for $1 you get it. I could not believe she was in there. All the other dolls were newer, it makes you wonder how she got there. I will make an update post when I finish with her makeover, hope it goes good and she turns out pretty!

Christmas in August... Napco Lady Head Vase..
Hello vintage lovers!! This is the beginning to a long list of blogs from this past weekend.... I hit the jackpot over the weekend at yard sales and the goodwill. One of my most favorite finds was this napco lady head vase, she is beautiful and in excellent condition. Just missing her earrings and necklace but I do not mind. I found her at the goodwill for 1.99!! I can now check that off my want list and am so excited I finally found one of these ladies. Sold listings on ebay have them selling at over $100 so I got very lucky finding her for the price I did. If you are patient it will come!

Update.... Estate Sale Saturday....
Hello vintage lovers!! Wanted to do an update on my estate sale Saturday post. I did indeed survive but it was a close call a few times... Not because of finding any items (more on that in a minute) it was just because the house very tiny and there were about 25 of us in the place. Like most sales it was hyped up so much you thought it was going to be amazing but sadly it was not. I was very disappointed, only thing I came out with was sweat beads (cause there was not air conditioning in the house either). So now I know the answer to my question if we miss the good stuff or if it just isn't there.... It just is not there, at least in my small town that is.
While I did not have much luck at the estate sale my grandma and I went to a few other sales and all I can say was today was my day!! I found so may awesome items and of course there will be blogs on all of my finds. I found everything that I thought I would find at that estate sale. It was one of the best day of finds I have had this summer/year. I got some jadeite (!!!) Christmas and many other things I am over the moon about. Oh forgot to mention... My first lady head vase (I have wanted one of those for years)!!! So be on the look out for those posts coming soon (????). I also had an amazing time with my grandma, she is so fun to be around I just love her to pieces, defiantly a memory making day today!!

Antique Mall Find... delphite blue art deco vase
Hello vintage lovers!! Went to an antique mall a few weeks ago (got behind taking pictures of course) and found this beauty. This is an art deco mid century blue delphite vase. It is in need of a good washing but is still beautiful. I really want a jadeite green in this vase but the blue will have to do for now. I only paid 6.50 for it so I think that was pretty good. Now to find a place to put it...
