Hello vintage lovers!! I am so excited for this post. I have had a lot of repro jadeite on my blog recently, mainly because I can't find original jadeite around my town. But a few saturdays ago I found my first two pieces of original 1940s jadeite at a yard sale!! These anchor hocking/fire king alice plates were 1.00 a piece. They were pretty grubby but nothing a little elbow grease could not take care of. I absolutely love them and I think the alice print (small flowers) is my favorite. I am so excited to add these to my jadeite collection!

Vacation Antique Mall Haul.... repro jadeite and pie bird
Hello vintage lovers!! While I was on vacation I got to go to a few antique malls to look for some jadeite. It is all repro jadeite but I still love it and can not even find that anywhere around where I live. The prices was really great for these items too, online they are double what I paid.
This measuring and mixing cup with juicer lid was 18.95!
These sugar spoon holders was $3.00 a piece!
I have also been wanting to get a pie bird and this little guy was so cute, not sure if he is vintage or not. He does have crazing but that may be able to be replicated. I paid 5.50 for him.

How Many Collections Can One Person Have??
Hello vintage lovers!! I thought it would be a good time for me to jump on here and do a post about all of my collections. Since it is my one year anniversary for starting this blog it seem appropriate! I know it has been a while since I posted on here but life does seem to get in the way sometimes but I am trying to get back at it. I can not believe it has been a whole year since I started this blog, time passes by too quickly that is for sure. Now without further ado here are my many collections I have, and please let me know if it is too many...

-ceramic elves
-acrylic carnival prize animals
-glass birds
-jewelry
-milk glass vases
-jadeite (right now I mostly have repro but I am trying to get originals in my price range)
-pyrex
-kitchen items (ceramics, utensils aprons, etc.)
-dolls (used to have a large collection but have downsized)
-barbies (not a lot just ones I really can't live without)

I going to add pioneer woman decor to this also because she is inspired by vintage items. This list is only my vintage items, I also have a plethora of non-vintage items I collect as well.. My husband is so thrilled, I'm sure you can imagine. I do not know why I love collecting but it makes me so happy to own these items. Most of the time I am the only one who actually sees them displayed in my home but I love it.
