Salvation Army Find... Pyrex spring blossom

Hello vintage lovers!! Welcome to another Salvation Army find, I usually do not have luck finding pyrex I have said this a lot before. This day I got 5 different pyrex items and I haven't found any since (of course). These 2 spring blossom casserole dishes came with their lids, if I find pyrex it is never with the lids. The bigger one was 2.99 the little one was 1.99. 

Goodwill Find.. Starburst Candy dish

Hello vintage lovers!! This is a goodwill find from a couple months ago but just know getting around to posting it (you know reasons). I was excited to find this beauty but of course there is a story behind it. Someone in the back must not have realized these two went together so they priced them separately at .99 a piece, I would have gladly paid the 1.98 but a lady behind me told the cashier "you know those two items go together you should give it to her for .99" and she did. So I got this piece for .99 (thank you ma'am). I bought it with Christmas in mind but it can be used all year! I don't see a makers mark or anything to identify it but I still think it is lovely with it's mid century flair. 

Salvation Army Finds.. Pyrex lids

Hello vintage lovers!! Today is a Salvation Army find, most of my good vintage finds come from there or yard sales but since no yard sales have been happening (thanks winter weather 😒) SA is all I  have. As you may have noticed I haven't really had a lot of luck finding pyrex but I find an abundance of lids. I always pick them up because you never know when you will find the dish but no lid. All of these lids were .99 except the small fridgey lid it was .25 at a yard sale in the fall. One of these days I will find the dishes that these go to but till then... The hunt is on! 

Goodwill Find... Red Handle Rolling pin

Hello vintage lovers!! This is another cool find from the goodwill, I don't have a lot of luck with vintage items at goodwill but toys and kids clothes are plenty. Every once in a while I find something and that makes me want to go in everyday 😂😂 On this trip I found this wooden rolling pin with red handles, it is in really good shape. I don't think it was hardly used, it has no paint missing on the handles. I paid 2.99 for this beauty, I think that is  a "gooddeal" (get it 😉).

Salvation Army Find... Pyrex Black Snowflake Dish...

Hello vintage lovers!! One of my most exciting finds last year 😏 was this pyrex black snowflake casserole dish, it didn't have a lid but since it is rather rare to find I was happy. The best part is I only paid 2.99 for it! I know it does not go with my bright colors but I figure for Christmas/winter time it would work good with my decor. I don't have a lot of luck finding pyrex items in my town especially at my salvation army but this day was great. I haven't found anything since but that is the thrill of the hunt. 

Thrift Haul... Metal and Glass Decor

This is a thrift haul from a while back, I had stopped in to my local salvation army (that is my honey hole for vintage items). I found more than this on that trip but will be doing separate posts for those items. I'm not sure what is going on with that filigree L if you remember I found a smaller one a few months back at the same salvation army, it was only .99. The metal and enamel loaf pan was .59 and the small round dish with lid was marked pyrex so I picked it up for .89. I love having good days like this but glad it is only once and a while cause my wallet can't handle it. 

Christmas In January!! Bag of random ceramic figures from Goodwill

Hello vintage lovers!! Well the holidays happened, and of course I put blogging on the back burner. I had grand plans to do a vintage Christmas countdown, but as you can tell that did not happen. So I have a few Christmas posts left to put up, hope you don't mind. This post is about the bag (yes I said bag my goodwill believes in putting a bunch of ceramics in a zip loc bag) of Christmas ceramics for 2.99. I was super excited to find this, I have a mate for the choir boy and the Santa's and little girl figures have the sweetest faces! I did use these in my decor this Christmas season.
