Salvation Army Find (of course)-Easter Treat Tray-Honey Comb Decorations

     Hello vintage lovers!! Got a few more vintage easter finds from salvation army. I got three honey comb paper decorations and a super cute treat tray for .59 a piece, you can't beat that price!

 

Salvation Army Haul-Iron Stone China and a Deer

     Hello vintage lovers!! Salvation army just keeps on giving I got this iron stone gravy boat with plate for 2.99. The vintage china small plates (some homer laughlin) was .10 a piece. The plastic deer was from a yard sale for .50, it is bigger than my other deer made like this. 

 

Salvation Army Finds-Plastic Kitchy Easter Picks

     Hello vintage lovers!! Salvation army put out their easter decorations this week and I found a few vintage things. I found a bag of plastic kitchy picks for 1.99 I love the bunny it has such a sweet face. The chick is too cute and the birds with the umbrella is a pretty blue. There was a few other things in the bag but they wasn't vintage so i redonated them. I also got the beautiful butterfly scarf for .49. Vintage holiday items are so hard to find I am always on the look out.

 

Salvation Army Finds- .10 Books-Hershey Cook Book-Charlie Brown-Astronomy-Educational

     Hello vintage lovers!! I have talked about my love for vintage books and cookbooks for a while now. I have used a lot of my books in my decor in my livingroom recently so of course when salvation army had their .10 book sale I had to get a few more. I was very happy with what i found the colors a subject matters were right on point. I am still waiting to find my betty crocker cooky book (still can't believe I forgot to get it at an estate sale two years ago.... grrrrrr.....) it will happen one day. 

 

Salvation Army Find-Distressed Plates and Steubenville Ivory Bowl

     Hello vintage lovers!! Found some distressed gems at my salvation army the other day. Why am I buying dishes now?? Not sure but these just called to me and when you get the call you answer (well buy). I have really been loving old plates and bowls with different designs on them lately. The two small bread plates are not marked and are distressed so nicely I love the floral print on them they was .29 a piece (an amazing price). Then I found the white bowl with green accents and white dogwoods printed on it made by steubenville ivory for .99. Not sure where these are going to go at the moment but I could not leave them there.  

 

Yard Sale Find- Teal/White Vintage Quilt

     Hello vintage lovers!! Remember in my last post how I said I was glad I went back through that storage unit "yard" sale. This is what I was talking about why I was so glad I did. I got this beautiful vintage quilt for only $10....... It has a few stains but for the price that does not matter, there was another one there that I had missed the first pass through (it was under some boxes) that another lady found I was like man.... Atleast it went to a very nice person (she talked to me a bit while we was looking, she was lovely to talk to). I have been picking up quilts if the price is in my range here lately because I want to make a display of them in my bedroom and who can say no to a beautiful piece like this???? 

 

Yard Sale Find-Chadwick Inc.-White and Purple Cow Set-Creamer/Salt and Pepper Shakers

     Hello vintage lovers!! I got to go to a "yard" sale today (it was in a storage shed but the prices was chef's kiss!!!) I saw a sign at a storage unit building saying yard sale so I made a b line to it. At first I wasn't too impressed (a lot of stuff stuck everywhere so it made it hard to look) but then I spotted these beauties. I have been looking for this set for a while I just love the faces on this set so much. I asked how much the set was (I was afraid he was going to be expensive) and to my surprise he said $3, is that good? I was like take my money right now, so then I made sure to go back through and look a lot better and as you will see I was glad I did....... 

 

Yard Sale Find-Ceramic Lady Lipstick Holder

     Hello vintage lovers!! Got to go to a yard sale a couple weekends ago, haven't been to a yard sale in over 3 months so it was nice to get to one. This one was an indoor yard sale that had about 6 people set up so I found a couple things. One of the items I found was this ceramic lady lipstick holder I just love her. She is in very good condition with no chips or paint missing, the sticker with the maker has come off so I do not know where she is from. The lady only charged me .25 for her!! 

 

Salvation Army Find-Tin Halloween Noise Maker

     Hello vintage lovers!! This past week at salvation army I found a holy grail item for myself. As you know I have been looking for vintage Halloween items in my thrifting quests but have not found many at all. It is very hard for me to find anything vintage Halloween where I live, so you can imagine my surprise when I found this just laying by itself on a shelf at salvation army for .49! I looked the shelves over to find more but alas this was the only one I found but it is nice to have one. 

 

It's A Vintage Haul Y'all-Quilt Piece-Books-Brass

     Hello vintage lovers!! This is a few items I got over the past couple weeks from salvation army and antique malls. First I got the white bird for $4, brass ash tray $2, Picture $1 and quilt piece $4. Then I got all of the old books for .10 a piece at salvation army! 

 

Sonsco-Made in Japan-Cat Vase

     Hello vintage lovers!! Got to go to a few yard sales this weekend and found these two cuties on a table together. The cat vase is a made in Japan sonsco, the cat's face is just precious and I love the polka dots on the side. The little cat is just marked bone china made in Japan, she is so little and cute. The lady only charged me .50 for both of them! 

 

Salvation Army Find-Made in Japan-Clutch Purse

     Hello vintage lovers!! Went to salvation army this week and all i found was this beautiful made in japan gold sequin clutch purse. I only paid .50 for this beauty I couldn't believe it! The bead work is so lovely on it and it has no missing sequins. I was happy to add this gold purse to my collection for such an amazing price.
