Antique Mall Find.... Jadeite Mixing Bowls-Swirl and Beaded Rim

Hello vintage lovers!! Got to go to an antique mall a few weeks ago to spend my Christmas money and you know I did!! I found this fire king 8 in. swirl mixing bowl (to go with my 7 in.) and this fire king 7 in. beaded edge mixing bowl (to go with my 6 in.). Both of these bowls was in good shape no chips or cracks just need a little bit of cleaning. The swirl was $25 and the beaded rim was $27, I really wish jadeite was easier to find for me in my area cause it kills me to pay the retail prices but I am just not that lucky at all. I think one piece of my jadeite came from a yard sale and I did find one cup at the salvation army about 5 years ago..... Oh well I love it so when I get money for my birthday or Christmas I guess this is where it will be going....

Flea Market Find... Lucite bracelet and earrings-Multi Stone clip on earrings

Hello vintage lovers!! A few weeks ago I went to an indoor flea market, I haven't been to a flea market or yard sale in 6 months so I was excited! I found a few items that just had to come home with me including these jewelry items. I love bracelets and clip on earrings (of course I own a few necklaces too). This is a green, white and gold lucite bead bracelet, I couldn't find a maker even though I tried. I also got the earrings to match (I had to, how could you leave one without the other?) the bracelet was $2 the earrings were $1. At the same booth I found the multi stone clip on earrings, I thought these were so pretty, they sparkle so nicely in the light. Again I could not find a maker for these either, but I only paid $2 for the set and it will go so good with my other earrings on my display! If her prices would have been a little lower I would have come home with way more but I had to limit myself or I would have ran out of money (the struggle of a collector I guess).

Salvation Army Find... 1967 Horsman Disney Mary Poppins Doll

Hello vintage lovers!! Today I ran by my local Salvation Army to have a browse around, went to the toy section and found this lady in a bag. I knew who she was right away, I used to collect vintage dolls about 15 years ago, so I can tell a good one from a mile away. This is the 1967 horsman mary poppins doll, she is not the remake that came out in the 80s (which the two do get confused cuase they look alike). I was a little disappointed because she is missing her white and red dress, her apron, all her shoes and most importantly her carpet bag 😪 I can't be too upset though cause she was only .99 and did come with 2 outfits, her coat with matching hat (in good condition with the flowers), her umbrella and her hat that goes with her white dress. You could buy her in this set with all her outfits, by herself or with her and the two kids. I love her face and can not wait to clean her up and display her. I may find her other accessories later but at least I have her whole original outfit!

Antique Mall Find... Fire King Jadeite Restaurant Ware-Divided Plates

Hello vintage lovers!! A couple of weeks ago my mom and I adventured to a town about 30 min away from us to have a look around. We went to our favorite antique/craft shop, we love to go in to look around to see what we just have to have. I found these waiting for me, they were only $10 a piece. They do have a few small chips but nothing to take away from the beauty or keep me from displaying them. This is a set of fire king jadeite restaurant ware divided plates, these are very sought after and from the comps on ebay pretty pricey too. Glad I got to add them to my collection. Now if I could just motivate myself to get my kitchen in order everything would be perfect!

Fkea Market Find.... Fire King Tulip Milk Glass Shaker

Hello vintage lovers!! Today is a flea market find if there ever was one. A couple weeks ago my mom and I went to an indoor flea market and found some cool things. Like this milk glass shaker, I believe it is the fire king tulip (the lid is so rusted it is hard to tell, hoping I can get a lot of that off). This shaker is very dirty, there is a layer of grease on the poor thing and I have already talked about the lid. There are no chips or cracks, after a nice wash it will be an amazing piece. The best part about this purchase was the fact this shaker was only .10.... Yes that is right I said .10... Now that right there is what a flea market price should be!

Salvation Army Find.. Ceramic Mermaid Potpourri Holder (??)

Hello vintage lovers!! I broke a rule today.... Since I do buy a lot of items and I am trying to be selective I told myself that broken items can not be purchased. What is the point to buy a broken item, right?? Well today I found this pretty lady for .69 I never find mermaid figures ever, so when I seen this girl my heart jumped..... but as you can see my excitement dwindled because her. hand. is. missing.... I put her in my cart and tried to talk myself out of the purchase but just could not. So I have decided that I am going to try to fix her, maybe glue a shell there to look like she is holding it?? We shall see but for the price I want to try. I am not sure what exactly she was meant to do. She has two holes on her head, one hole in her back and a hole on the bottom. I was thinking maybe a potpourri holder in a bathroom?? I tried all day to research her but can't find this exact one, I did find 2 that looked similar but they only said they are figures from the 50s. She has a very pretty face and other than her missing hand no other issues. I am hoping to be able to save her, I do believe she was worth my broken rule!
