Lost Post.... Christmas in March... Made in Japan Putz Village

Hello vintage lovers!! This is a lost post that I have had since March! I found this set right before Covid hit and the thrift stores was shut down. I got this set at a rummage store I went to alot that benefited a local dog rescue, they opened back up but it is further away from me now so I do not get to go anymore but they had great things and I miss going.
This set is in ok condition, it is missing the windows in most of the buildings and one of the houses the roof need fixed but they only charged me 2.50 for the set so I think that was a good deal. This set looks almost identical to the other set I recently found but I do not care I will display both of them, they do have some differences. I can not believe in one year I found two complete sets of putz house for under $5!

Goodwill Find.... Raggimals Bonnie Bear and Millie Mouse

Hello vintage lovers!! Ran by the goodwill today for a quick peek and these little buddies was waiting for me in the plush section. They are the Raggimals that came out in 1969 and the early 70s. I couldn't find an exact date but a lot of them are marked 1969. There are 6 to collect I believe but I only found bonnie bear and millie mouse. These sweeties are in excellent condition, no yellowing or rips but millie does have a little stain under her nose. Since these girls was in the plush bin I only paid .50 a piece for them, that is a deal for sure, they even still have their hang tags!

Christmas in August.... The Awesome Yard Sale Had Christmas Too! Celluloid Nativity-Ornaments-Gift Tags

Hello vintage lovers!! I got a few more Christmas items at the awesome yard sale. I got the santa and elf ornaments for .25 a piece (the faces on the elf and santa are so cute! and this is my first metallic elf) and the celluloid with original box nativity for .25 too. The gift tags was .50 a piece at a local thrift shop (I don't think these are old old, they are probably late 70s early 80s but I loved the graphics on them).
I wish they would have had more elves and more ornaments but this is what I got luck enough to find. Believe me looked through every Christmas tote they had out there to find these items.  I am trying my best to be selective with the Christmas but if I see an elf or ceramics or putz houses I am going to buy it!

I Bought All The Salt and Pepper Shakers!! Awesome Yard Sale Find!! Part 1

Hello vintage lovers!! Ok, so maybe I didn't buy all of the salt and pepper shakers but I sure did buy a lot of them! I couldn't help it, look how cute they are!! You never find this many vintage shakers at one sale ever. The lady having the sale said that her brother purchased a house and the family left all of the belongings in it and told him to do whatever he wanted with them. So as you can see this lady had a big collection of salt and pepper shakers.
I kind of wish I had bought them all so I could have went through them better but I was trying to be good. I wanted to find that other cat shaker so bad (but it may not have even been there I did look through a few boxes). I have a small collection of shakers already so these will be at home with them. I had a collection of shakers about 10 years ago that I sold but of course it always comes back around again! I only paid .25 per set for these and that is an amazing deal I think my favorite out of these (with the exception of the cat that may be holt howard it's not marked) would be the cream and sugar people!

Look at the Transformation on this Spaghetti Ceramic Bear!!

Hello vintage lovers!! I got this little cutie at the salvation army for .69 and poor thing looks awful. I have found that a lot of these spaghetti ceramics look like this, I guess it has a lot a places for dirt to get stuck. I never let the look of them stop me I get them anyways because all the need is a good scrubbing. I use a toothbrush (gets in those crannies really good) and dish soap, that is it and look how pretty she came out!           Only problem was the paint outlining her eyes must have been cold painted (that means it's not fired on) and that did come off with the scrubbing, you do have to watch the paint when doing this. Her nose, mouth and eye pupils did stay in place so I am happy. I really could not get around scrubbing her face I think even if I would have used a cloth it would have still come off. Her little face was very dirty so I am not upset about it, something I did not realize because of how dirty she was, her roses are white!!! I love the way she turned out and she is going to look so cute with my other spaghetti figures!
**Also in her post where I found her, I said that she may be a mouse but her tail is small so we are going with a bear!! So Cute!!** And.... If you really want to see how gross this girl was, check out that post it is so crazy how dirty she was!!**

Salvation Army Find.... Pink Spaghetti Ceramic Figure-Mouse or Bear (?)-Made in Japan

Hello vintage lovers!! Stopped by salvation army today and found this little girl for .69, she needs a wash (like a really good wash cause girl is grimmy but it isn't her fault!) but I thought she was so cute! I am not sure if she is a mouse or a bear (she doesn't have a long tail but her ears are big so I don't know???). She has lost her stickers but has a stamp and from my research she is made in Japan. I hope to get her cleaned up and ready for display soon!

Christmas In August!!! Made in Japan Lefton Christmas Boy and Dog Music Box

Hello vintage lovers!! I decided since my laptop went down in July and I couldn't write any posts for a couple of weeks that I would carry over my Christmas in July but of course it is in August. I have been good about not picking up a lot of christmas items this year. I only pick up things that really get my attention. It used to be I would buy anything vintage cause that was my mind set, now it is more quality over quantity.         This week I ran into the goodwill a few times to check things out, one time I went this little boy was waiting on the shelf for me.  He is a made in Japan Lefton music box, he play and the little dog is adorable! This music box was only 3.50, it is great condition, no chips or cracks! It is so cute and will go great with my other Lefton music boxes in my collection!

Goodwill Find..... PYREX!!! Corningware Cornflower Blue

Hello vintage lovers!! Made a surprise trip to the goodwill today that I almost didn't do. I was just in there yesterday and found nothing. But something told me to stop by today and I was not dissappointed!! Not only did I have vintage luck I had luck in all my collections, check out my other blogs to see what else I got.
I got the corningware cornflower blue dish for my grandmother, it is really dirty so I am hoping to get it clean for her. It was only .99 so if I can't get it clean I am not out that much money. They had a loaf pan that was in great condition for 2.99 but she already has one of those so I left it for someone else.
I also found my first piece of pyrex in a long time. The middle bowl from the town and country mixing bowl set. I already have the big bowl, not I just need to find the smaller bowl and that set will be complete! This bowl had a price tag on it for 1.99 but the cashier only charged me .20!!!! What???? This is my cheapest pyrex item I have found!
