Goodwill Find-Christmas Tags and Seals

     Hello vintage lovers!! Let's talk about vintage christmas tags shall we? If you have read any of this blog you have seen I am a sucker for vintage ephemera mostly Christmas but I don't discriminate. Today it is all about the Christamas tags and seals, I found these two packages and some seals at goodwill for .99!! 

     The pink packaging is to die for and I am going to keep it but the other is too torn up so it will have to go. I moved the tags from the blue pack to the pink pack cause I liked them better and wanted to display them. The tags from the other pack I am going to put with my other tags that are packed away in bags. I just love all the tags in the pink packaging and the santa at the top he is too cute!  

 

Estate Sale Find-Ceramic Christmas Tree with Music Box

      Hello vintage lovers!! Went to an estate sale this past weekend and found some great items at amazing prices. I was trying to hold myself back from buying a lot of stuff but when I seen this it was coming home with me. Ok, a bit of a back story, I have wanted a green ceramic tree for about 5 years now but I always just missed out or it was too expensive (one lady wanted $50 at a yard sale, not very good yard sale price).         So when I seen this beaut at the sale I just knew it was going to be out of my price range. But I asked her anyways, she said "oh, I can give it to you for $10, is that ok"....... Ummmmm...... Take my money now!!! I was so excited because not only is this a almost 2ft tall tree but it has a working music box in the bottom and it had almost all of it's bulbs/birds (even if it didn't I have some replacements found them a few years ago at a sale for a couple of bucks, I was ready). 

     The only issues it has is the top is chipped a bit but it looks like the snow that is on the branches and the star at the top has one point broken off but that is ok too (I also have a replacement for that too) cause this tree is worth so much more than $10!! One of the big things is off my wish list now and I am so happy! She doesn't even know how much she made my weekend :)

Yard Sale Finds-Quilt Top-Chaklboard-Hazel Atlas Uranium Glass

     Hello vintage lovers!! Went to a few yard sales last weekend and come home with some pretty nice things. I got this new old stock (but the packaging is dirty as can be) chalkboard for $1, the tag on the packaging says daily reminder blackboard, you can tell it is from atleast the 60s. Also got the bottom to a hazel atlas uranium glass butter dish (now I just have to find the top) for $1. My fav find was this cutter quilt top (it doesn't have a backing so I can get it redone but I am going to leave it as is) for $5! I got all these items at one sale and I love all of them! 

 

Salvation Army Find-Indiana Glass-Pink Depression Glass-Hen on a Nest

     Hello vintage lovers!! Today I ran by the salvation army and all I found was this little lady. I do like her a lot though. She is an indiana glass co. pink depression glass hen on a nest. I got her for 6.99 and think that is a great deal, she will go with my other hens in the coop. 

 

Yard Sale Find-Jewelry-Pin-Clip On Earrings-Pendant

      Hello vintage lovers!! It's been a long time since we did a jewelry haul, I went to an amazing yard sale that an older lady was having. She said she was trying to clean out the house so her kids wouldn't have to, bless her heart. She is also the one I found all the great pyrex at with amazing prices!! She had a lot of really pretty jewelry but I had to be selective so this is what I decided on. You know I love me some sparkly rhinestone earrings, cameos and of course pins! These items was only $1 a piece I could not say no to that. 

Salvation Army Finds-Wooden Ducks-Japan Bird-Snoopy Ornament

      Hello vintage lovers!! Made a salvation army stop this week and got a few little things but still wanted to share cause they are too cute. First I found this wooden duck family for my son, he loves birds right now so these are on his desk. The two big ones was .99 a piece and the two babies was .59 a piece. Also picked up a made in japan ceramic bird for my son alos it was .99. Lastly was my fav find, my son does a snoopy themed tree in his room for Christmas so this little snoopy ornament will go perfect, it was only .99 I was really surprised it wasn't priced higher. 

Yard Sale Finds-Pyrex Butterprint Fridge Dish-Chicken/Rooster Shakers

      Hello vintage lovers!! This weekend I got to go to a few yard sales, it was a good vintage day for sales. At the first sale I found this pyrex butterprint big fridge dish for .50! It needed a bit of work and still needs a bit more but I think it looks a lot better in the last pic. I also found these rooster and chicken salt and pepper shakers for .50 too. Wish they had more shakers but I did find that awesome haul a few months ago so I can't be too greedy. 

Salvation Army and Goodwill Finds.... Christmas and Thanksgiving

     Hello vintage lovers!! I found some holiday decor at goodwill and salvation army this week. I found the corsage in the box for 1.29 and a possible gurley turkey candle for .99 at goodwill. Then I found this beautifully illustrated book from the 50s named Christmas in Fairyland for .59 at salvation army. The pictures are gorgeous and it still has the pop up effects on the pages and the 3d effects on others. It also still had the paper crown that came with it to wear (it's in the last pic with the back of the book)!!! I just love this book and if I find more books like this I will be getting them (of course). 

 

It's A Haul Y'all-Koi Fish Shakers-Egg Cups and a Puppy In a Basket

     Hello vintage lovers!! Went to my local thrift stores this week and found me some vintage things. It has been slim pickings here lately but was happy to find a few things. First is this set of koi fish salt and pepper shakers made in japan, they was 1.99 for the set at salvation army. Then I found this wooden egg cup couple for .59 a piece. Lastly was this cute puppy in a basket salt and pepper shaker set (the basket is broken on the inside so I just put some paper in the bottom so the puppy could sit up) for $1 at goodwill! Was happy to find some vintage items cause there has not been anything for months now....
