Flea Market Find-McCoy Pottery-Teal Ceramic Vase

     Hello vintage lovers!! Went to a flea market a couple of weeks ago and found this gem. This is a mccoy pottery ceramic vase in a very pretty matte teal color. It is not marked but in my research it said this was mccoy. I love the color and design of this piece I really enjoy mccoy pottery and hope to find more in the future.

Goodwill Find-Commonwealth Toys-Musical Rubber Face Bear-50's

     Hello vintage lovers!! I don't usually buy a lot of vintage plush but this guy stole my heart at the goodwill. He is a commonwealth toys musical rubber face teddy bear from the 50's. He still has his ribbon and he still plays music!! Usually by now they have been wound too tight and can't play the only issue besides paint missing from his nose is a tear on his arm but I am going to patch him right up. His face was too cute to leave behind.

Yard Sale Find-Another Vintage Quilt

     Hello vintage lovers!! As you can see I obviously can not say no to a vintage quilt but when you find one at an amazing price it is hard to walk away. I really loved the floral prints in this one, if I find even one print I like it is hard for me to not get it. I also like ones that have designs but these with all the different fabrics are fantastic. This one is also very thick, most of mine are thinner cause of age.

Yard Sale Finds-Green Handle Sifter-Bird Tin-The Southerner Book

     Hello vintage lovers!! As you have seen by previous posts I had a very good weekend of yard sales recently and wanted to add these items in to. I think these are great items and the prices was outstanding. I got the green handled sifter for only $2, the bird tin for only $2 and the book for only $1! The book is copyrighted 1913!! It is in amazing condition!! 

 

Estate Sale Finds-Blue-Carnival Glass-Pedestal Bowl

     Hello vintage lovers!! You may not know this about me but.... I love carnival glass especially the blue color. They are all pretty but blue is my favorite, I don't have a lot of carnival glass cause it is a bit expensive the only other piece I own is a blue hen on a nest and it is my favorite. I found the a couple weekends ago at an estate sale and the price was very right, now I have to figure out where to display it....

     Hello vintage lovers!! In my thrifting adventures this past weekend I found this adorable milk glass small hen on nest. I have quite the collection of these girls I have all sizes new and old. I can't leave them behind if I see them cause my grandmother likes them too! I have a little "coop" set up for them and have them setting around my kitchen.

Salvation Army Find-Effanbee-Most Happy Family-Mom and Daughter

     Hello vintage lovers!! I have added yet another family set to my collection. This one is not complete but I love this doll and her baby girl. They have on the cutest matching jackets! This is the effanbee most happy family mother and daughter, the son and baby are missing from this set. I believe this set was one of the first to come out in the late 50's because her face is the teen doll face from effanbee. By the early 60's this sets mother doll had a more mature face (take a look at my other most happy family set and you will see). Also the daughter in this set is bigger than my other set by a couple of inches not sure about the son and baby since they was not with these two. I do love the burgundy color of their clothes and hope to complete the set one day!

     Hello vintage lovers!! Went to some great yard sales this past weekend and this was one of my many great finds!! This is a set of small lady head vases that are marked made in usa. These are in great condition they have no chips or cracks and their paint is very nice. They are green with gold accents I love their red lips. I have a hard time finding these vases in my area for a decent price I only 2 others in my collection.

Salvation Army Find-Uneeda-Composition-Rita Haywearth as Carmen Doll

     Hello vintage lovers!! I can not believe I have this girl in my collection! This is an all original uneeda Rita Haywearth as Carmen doll from 1949. She is beautiful, she does have some light crazing but not bad for her age. She is all original including her paper hang tag the only thing she is missing is her necklace but the hang tag makes up for it! I paid up for her for sure but I feel like she is worth every penny!
