Bargain Prices On Pioneer Woman Items...

Hello vintage lovers!! I know technically these items are not vintage but as I have said before I believe Ree uses vintage items as inspiration for her line of products. So I decided to put this post on this blog, the deals where too good and I love me some Pioneer Woman!!

First off is this really pretty country garden utensil holder I got this for 9.62 after tax on walmart's website and had it shipped site to store. I love this print of hers so much!

Then we have this cute teal cow creamer with 4 ramekins that are from her flea market line. This was 9.54 after tax, bought off of walmart's website and sent site to store. I wanted the cow mostly but can use the ramekins and that price is amazing.

I found the last 2 items at a place in my town called bargain barn. These are the ruffle bowls from the black friday dish set,  I have wanted these for a while.  I paid $10 for the 4 of them and was excited about finding them!

To go with the bowls, this is plate and bowls from the ruffle set in the linen color. I was excited to find these too, they are hard to find at a reasonable price. I paid $20 for the 12 piece set! They also had the butter dish and salt and pepper shakers for $10 but I did not need those. I asked if they get a lot of pioneer woman but he said not too much. So not sure how often I will be checking back. I am happy with what I found this past few weeks!!

A Church Sale Haul Y'all!! Owl of the owls

Hello vintage lovers!! This weekend I attended a church sale in our area that had a lot of nice vintage items. Thus sale is a really nice one everything is 1.50 unless marked other wise. I mostly bought owls HAHA!! I can not help it I love my owls but so did my granny, she had shelves of them. Here is what I got.

Like I said all the owls came home with me. I paid $15 for all of these owls!! I could not believe it!  I really like the ones in top pic at the back that look like they have real feathers. The little yellow flour sifter was 1.50 love it!! Also picked up a couple none vintage items/kids items if you want to see those head on over to the economically thrifty mommy, that is my mommy/lifestyle blog (yes I'm one of those people with several blogs LOL).

A Goodwill Haul Y'all!! Honey bees and Pencil Sharpeners

Hello vintage lovers!! I took a trip to goodwill over the weekend (with my kids, that was an adventure but worth it) had a lot of luck. A couple of my finds will be in my blog series where I highlight items that I am super excited about with their own post! Here are the items I found.

First item is this super beeutiful (get it) honey pot. Love this with the little bees on their hive. I paid $1 for this. Next is the glass sugar shaker, it was .99. Then I found these 3 made in hong kong metal pencil sharpeners (there is a car, steam boat and oil lamp) these were 1.99, I did purchase these for resale since I do not collect these items. I got a couple other items but those have their own post, be on the lookout for those!!

A Little Bit About Myself.....

Hello vintage lovers!! I am a 36 (soon to be 37) year old lover of all things vintage. I am actually a collector of a lot of things but vintage items are my passion. I especially love vintage Christmas. I also have a love of vintage Japan ceramic animals, little lady figures and well mostly anything that is vintage made in Japan. I love items from the 1950-1960's. At the moment I am really into vintage kitchen items and decor. I also love pioneer woman decor but I do think that is because she bases a lot of her items from vintage items.  I am a goodwill, thrift store, yard sale scavenger. So it is easy to say I like a good deal lol. That is the only way I buy my items, when you live on a budget ebay and etsy are out of the question. That is where the thrifty in my name comes from!
I have been a collector for many years,  got it from my grandmother she always loved her knick knacks around her house. She also frequented yard sale and thrift stores. I have a few of her items which are very precious to me. Even as a little girl I would go with my grandma and she would buy me vintage trinkets that I would put on a shelf in my room, most I still have today. I used to have a collection of vintage dolls but after having children I sold most of those and I do not know if I will ever get back into collecting them again. Only time will tell, I tend to change my mind a lot about my collections. Over the years I have had quite a few different collections like unicorns, sharpei's, pigs, winnie the pooh, beanie babies, jewelry, perfume, candles and if I tried to keep going this post would never end. One thing that has always been a constant is vintage has always been mixed in too even as a teen.
I also dabble in selling as well. I do not make a living off of it by any means but it does help me get items for my own collection that I really want. Since I am a stay at home mom of 2 boys it does help with my thrifting, I do not use our bank account at all to get these items only money I make.  I only sell on ebay for now, I used to have a booth at a craft shop in my town but that has now closed. It helps others out as well who could be looking for the item I have that they need. I am a member on a few (like 20 hahaha) facebook vintage groups but I do not sell only there to look.
With this blog I hope to show you items that I have collected, things I find and things I sell. I am very excited about this and hope you are too! Come join me for a trip down memory lane!
