After Christmas Fun-Salvation Army Find-Santa Coasters

Hello vintage lovers!! These last few posts didn't get posted in the countdown but I wanted to share them so enjoy a little more Christmas till next year! The salvation army has been good to me the past few weeks I thought that they were putting out their Christmas stuff as it came in but I was wrong....... They had a big Christmas sale on December 1st and posted pics of all the stuff they put out and of course I seen these in the very corner of a pic and was in my car and on the way there in 30 seconds flat. I have been looking for a set of these forever and in the box was even better (as you will be able to tell I love a good vintage package to decorate with). I got lucky and they was still there with a few more items that are not pictured, these cuties was only .59!

Countdown To Christmas 2021-Day 25-The Vintage Decor Spread Through My Living Room

Hello vintage lovers!! First off I would like to say Merry Christmas to you and your family! I decided to post this little blog to the countdown as well. I may have talked about it before but in case I have not, I do not use vintage decor in my living room except for my cabinet cause my younger son still loved to grab everything and I do not want my vintage items broken.
So I only decorate my cabinet and my kitchen for now but I did decide to add a few vintage touches to my living room and I love it so much. I think the vintage spread around with the newer items looks so nice and as you can see I have a nice mix of all my collections shown. My fav items is probably the shiny brite box top because that is the very first shiny brite box that was made, that is so cool!! I hope you had an amazing holiday season and that you have a Happy New Year!

Countdown To Christmas 2021-Day 24-A Closer Look At My Hutch

Hello vintage lovers!! We have came to the end of our countdown, this season went by quick I hate to see Christmas go but it can't be Christmas all year now can it? I wanted to do a closer look at my hutch and show you what it looks like at night with the light on (spoiler it is beautiful). As you can see I used my jadeite again this year as an accent and I put my pioneer woman items out too.
I got my white ceramic tree on display and my snowman blow mold. I also put my napco girls in her this year with my lady head vase. My santa mugs and pitcher sets are on full display and I have started a salt and pepper collection (yay another one haha). There is one piece of lonely pyrex maybe I'll find more of that in the future. I think this piece turned out so pretty this year, it looks nice every year but I am especially proud this year. I just want to say I hope your family has the Merriest of Christmases and A Very Happy New Year!

Countdown To Christmas 2021-Day 23-My Kitchen Decor

Hello vintage lovers!! It is that time of year when I get to share my vintage christmas decor in my kitchen! I love decorating my kitchen cause I can deck it all out in vintage cause my little one can't get in there unless I am with him so the items are safe. I want to decorate my whole house at some point with vintage but we have to wait a bit on that still.
So as you can see it was a bit of a santa theme in here I have a lot of santas and I am not mad about it. You will have to look and see if you can find all of the items I have bought this year and where they are at. I was really happy with my kitchen like my cabinet cause I got to put a little bit of all my collections out for display. I was really happy to get my corsages on display this year cause that is one I have never to got put out. I also was happy to finally get my white ceramic tree out that I have had for a while. There is so much awesome stuff in these pics and I love it all, I also included a pic of my table at night with the fairy lights it looks so pretty.

Countdown To Christmas 2021-Day 22-My Cabinet in my Livingroom

Hello vintage lovers!! Today is day 22 in our countdown to Christmas, I wanted to save the best for last my vintage Christmas decor. This is my very special and sentimental curio cabinet, it was made for my by my old boss when I got married, he made if from his father's old gun cabinet so it was very special to him. He recently passed away and this is what I will have to remind me of him and I love to decorate it for Christmas I put all of my items in it that I do not want my son to touch and put a lock on the front so he can not open it.
This year I am really happy with how it turned out, I put a little bit of every collection that I have in it and it makes me so happy to look at it! On the top I have my ceramic tree that I just found this year and I have been wanting for a while and a few of my vintage package decor items, there is also a pixie and a white santa (my santas are all red but him). The first shelf is my tree toppers (in brass candle holders) and my vintage ceramics. The second shelf has over flow from the top tree toppers and ceramics. The bottom shelf has a couple of my plush santas, my elves and my putz houses. This collection has been building for 10 years and I can honestly say I love every piece I own.

Countdown To Christmas 2021-Day 21-Salvation Army $6 Finds!!!

Hello vintage lovers!! As you can see I missed a few days in the countdown, I tried my best but sometimes we get a little busy or worn down. I can not believe how quickly this month as went by or this year for that matter. The last few posts are going to be my home decor I figured why not finish it with the best? Now on to sharing this awesome salvation army find with you! I ran into salvation army last week just to peek around (I have had a bit of luck there the past few weeks) and luck I did have.
I found this box of goodies and started going through it I was going to just pick some stuff out but then I noticed a price of $6 for the whole box and just took it all (some will be redonated but not a lot). I love going through boxes like this to see what treasures I can find and I had already seen quite a few things I was interested in so this was a steal of a deal to me. As you can see I got those beautiful red flocked reindeer and they are large, there was also another celluloid deer to add to the flock (as I always say I am not leaving a deer behind). I also got that cute snow person ornament, a gold glitter santa pick, gold glitter reindeer, greenery and my favs of all time the gnomes!! I know they are gnomes now not elves because I seen a vintage add with them and they called them gnomes. She also threw in the vintage commode seat cover with the box so I did pretty good for $6!

Countdown To Christmas 2021 Day 15-Shiny Brite Ornament Box

Hello vintage lovers!! Went to a flea market in the fall and did not find a lot of Christmas but I did run across this gem. This is a vintage shiny brite box with ornaments (the ornaments are all red but still pretty) I bought it for the box to be honest. I love to decorate with vintage packaging at Christmas and I did not have a box like this yet. I believe this box is from the 50s and is a rarer box to find and as you can see it cost $1 (I was upset he wrote the price on the box but they don't think about you wanting the box all they think is you want the ornaments). Notice the .05 sticker on the side of the box, like wow that tells you it is old with that price on it. I have quite a few shiny brite boxes but I think this one is a favorite!

Countdown To Christmas 2021 Day 14-Rare Wall Hanging Ceramic Tree

Hello vintage lovers!! Earlier this summer I found this beauty at an estate sale for only, well let's hold off on the price for a min. When I got to the sale I found a lot of the bulbs for these trees and of course picked them up because most of the time when you find these trees they are missing bulbs, plus I have a green and white full tree and if I want to change them up it is nice to have the option. So when she was putting them in a bag for me and telling me the price she mentioned the ceramic tree they fit in. I was like excuse me..... there's a tree too, she said yes it's in the next room and let me tell you I ran to that room. Sure enough this beauty was setting right in the floor waiting for me. I didn't find much more there so I went up to ask her how much the tree was, she said oh how about $3........... I'm sorry I think I just hallucinated...... No, I didn't she sold me the tree for $3 and all the bulbs for $7, best $10 I ever spent for sure!

Countdown To Christmas 2021-Day 12-Yard Sale Finds-Santa Mail Boot-Candy Garland-Reindeer and More

Hello vintage lovers!! This will be the last post of my epic field yard sale I went to with my mom a month or so ago. I got all of these items from another seller at this sale and he was super nice and gave me all this for $3!! I was like are you sure and he was like I just want to get rid of it. I do not mind taking it especially at that price.
The santa mail boot is my favorite I love it so much. The new in package candy garland is a close second then of course I love my reindeer the putz house is awesome but it does have some damage. I feel like he had a lot more great stuff but I missed out on it cause we went the second day they was set up but you can't dwell on that and just be happy with what you did get!
