Hello vintage lovers!! I made a trip to salvation army last week and it did not disappoint. I found a lot of vintage finds, that is the place I usually have the most luck. I have a haul of items I got there that day but I decided a few items needed their own spot light. This item intrigued me so I did not leave without it it is a round jar with a dome lid and says solar tea on it. I thought it was a brand of tea but after my research I found out it is a tea maker. You put water in with tea bags set it outside and the sun warms up the jar and makes the tea. Even in the 70's they were being environmental, pretty neat idea I do have to say. This is one of the first models it has a metal ring, later models have plastic rings. I only paid 1.49 for this, I really like how different it is.
