Hello vintage lovers!! In today's post I am going to tell you about my embarrassing stalking of the goodwill cart. Every now and then when I am in the store they bring out the wares carts that has the items they are putting on the shelves. Not sure if all goodwills are the same but mine will not let you get things out of the cart it has to go on the shelf first. So I walk past it to take a peek and if there is anything of interest I stalk the poor employee till they set it out on the shelf. Shameless I know... This rarely happens but when it does it is something vintage. Today I saw a glimpse of turquoise blue and knew it was pyrex. I think he knew I wanted it cause he was by the kitchen section, where it should have been placed and he walked up front to take a purse. Was thinking ok that is fine I can wait, I'm sure people aggravate the crap out of them but I was just looking I didn't say a word. So he finally comes back and I act like I'm looking at clothes, it finally happens he sets the items down and I run for it. Hahaha! It was just as I thought a pyrex baking dish, in the turquoise snowflake print. It does have it's issues (looks like it was put in dishwasher) but I am hoping it will clean up fine. Seeing as how it only cost me 1.79 I will be fine it has some damage. I really like the print and after stalking the poor guy for it I had to get it, didn't I?
