Hello vintage lovers!! This is just a little check in to tell you what I have been up to. Not a lot like the rest of the population at this moment. I have been doing some thrifting the past few months but not as much as I used to. Also I have not been seeing a lot of vintage items, or guess I should say a lot of vintage items I want. Like I have been saying and keep saying (I'm sure you are tired of hearing it) I am being a lot more particular about what I buy.
I will say that I was disappointed with my goodwill this past week. They had been closed down for almost two months. They had a big re opening and let me tell you it was crazy. I think everyone in our town was at that place. I was hoping to find a few vintage items but came home empy handed. I really did not see any pyrex, jadeite or really anything vintage but there was also a lot of people grabbing and filling carts full so there may have been a few things that I just missed.
It was sad to not see one anything at all but it was probably a good thing. I was so excited for the goodwill to be open again I probably would have bought anything I saw that was vintage. I did go to a few yard sales in my area too but again no vintage stuff. I am supposed to go with my mom to a town a little ways away from me over the weekend so I am hoping to find a few things there. Guess we will have to wait and see. Hope you are having luck at your local thrift stores!
