Hello vintage lovers!! How appropriate that I come back with a haul after my last post and a Christmas one at that but come on this stuff is pretty cool (puts hands in the air, waving like I just don't care). For the past few years the salvation army has been holding all the Christmas stuff till atleast October before putting it out. Guess they decided to go a different route this year and keep it out year round.
First off was my find for the week, the brass deer, now I don't consider them just to be Christmas infact I am going to use them in my decor all year but they were in the Christmas section and I WALKED RIGHT PAST THEM! I have been looking for a set of these for a while now so I can not believe I walked right past them. I went back around to look at something else and lo a behold they were setting right in front of my face on a shelf for 2.99 a piece! I grabbed them up like I was stealing them, from my research I believe that these are from the 70s??? Love finding something you have been looking for.
Next I found the two Koestel made in west germany wax head and hand angels for 1.99 a piece. One of them is missing a wing and both had damage to their wings. I mean these are about 60 years old and the wings are made of thin tin so it is even a miracle they have pieces of them. Their outfits are amazing, they are velvet and so pretty and such good quality. I did not need anymore tree toppers but my goodness these are beautiful, even with the flaws. I also got the satin ball garland for .25 I thought it would look cute in my kitchen on my shelf next year.
